Wicked!

After months of anticipation, my sister, Jenny, and I went to Wicked at the Capitol Theatre on Saturday. Let me just say that it did not dissappoint--the singers were amazing, the music beautiful, the costumes were totally elaborate and the special effects were awesome. I only wish I could go again so that I could notice everything I missed the first time. Unfortunately, I couldn't afford it even if it were possible to get tickets. It was a lot of fun, though, and definitely worth the wait!

Happy Easter!

It was a beautiful day today and the kids looked so cute in their new clothes that it was the perfect opportunity to take lots of pictures. We really enjoyed the day and the kids even convinced us to eat our Easter dinner on a blanket in our backyard. Hope everybody else had a great day!
Here's some pictures Emma and Eliza took. They're actually not too bad. Like my pooch?

Happy Birthday Ellie!

Eliza officially turned 6 years old yesterday. She is such a sweet, sensitive little girl and we are so glad that she is a part of our family. She was truly "pooped out" (as Ellie would say) by the end of a busy day which included attending a friend's birthday at McDonalds, Easter festivities and a birthday celebration with lots of family. It was nice that lots of people were here to celebrate with us because of the Easter holiday.
Here she is blowing out the candles. We love you sweet girl!

Happy Hula!

Today, after months of careful planning, we had Eliza's 6th birthday luau. A good time was had by all and I am going to have a lot more time on my hands (well, in theory....).

Ode to Grandma

My mom watched the kids on Monday while I went to the doctor and ran some errands. She took these pictures while I was gone. Aren't grandmas great?

Whaz up!?

Ben took these pictures of Rachel being her usual hammy self. What a goof! Oh and Ben got each of the girls one of these pink CNN t-shirts while he was in Atlanta. They love them because they're pink and sparkly--not because they have any idea what CNN is.
